Ik vroeg me af of iemand al problemen had ondervonden met de decals van de Nieuwe Audi R 18.... 

Racer Ferrari 250 GTO64

 

Glad to inform you we are already assemblying the brand new 250GTO64
with stock code SL12A and SL12B.
The body is of course a complete new mold since the model 250GTO64 is
totally different from classic 250GTO 1962.
First versions reproduced as follows:

SL12A - 250GTO64 - N.A.R.T. - Le Mans 24hrs 1964 - E. Hugus / J.Rosinski
SL12B - 250GTO64 - N.A.R.T. - Reims 12hrs 1964 - P.Rodriguez / N. Vaccarella

Problemen Slot.it Audi CA 24 a

Onderstaande bericht kreeg ik via de importeur van Slot.it

Dear customer,
unfortunately, for reasons that are difficult to understand, but that are most likely due to a defective glue of layer in the decal sheet, part of the chromed roof decals used on model CA24a Audi R18 may appear damaged (wrinkled or detached) on cars currently being in shops. We believe that the issue has developed during transportation, while the decal dried out, as the models had no sign of such problem in production, when we performed our usual quality check.
In order to fix this, we are preparing a repair kit which can be sent free of charge to any customer requesting it. The kit will include two copies of all the necessary parts to replace the damaged decal, to restore the car to the original expected decoration, and will be ready in approximately 15 days.
We apologize for the trouble caused.

Please rest reassured that the forthcoming Lola Rebellion, Audi CA01-10th, and R18 LeMans winner 2011 (CW12) are not made using the same technique and do not have any of the aforementioned issues.

Hier eem leuk filmpje van wederom een nieuwe slotcar fabricant. In gelimiteerde oplages. Het filmpje is heel grappig en laat zien hoe snel zo'n auto in elkaar zit ;-)

Slot.it Audi R18 TDi, Monza test 2011

Eindelijk is het lange wachten voorbij, vanaf Donderdag 29 November zullen deze auto's leverbaar zijn in Nederland. Ook deze auto word geleverd met een zogenaamde anglewinder set-up. Vast een leuke auto om tegen de Lola te rijden. Opvallend is het verchroomde dak !
